About the Fund
The Yoko McClain Faculty East Asian Language and Literature Endowment was established in 1993 as a lasting tribute to the life and work of Yoko McClain to help foster and promote scholarship within the discipline upon which she has had such an important impact. The desire of the fund is to broaden the scope of academic and cultural cooperation between the United States and Japan- a significant theme that has been a cornerstone of Yoko McClain's own work.
