This past November, nearly 200 Ducks gathered at the Erb Memorial Union for the 10th annual UO Board Summit to align around shared priorities and renew their commitment to the university’s future. From board meetings to spirited tailgate celebrations, these dedicated volunteers advance the UO’s mission through service on advisory boards, mentorship, regional engagement, and ongoing support for campus initiatives. Thanks to a generous investment from the Oregon Scottish Rite, the University of Oregon’s HEDCO Clinic is expanding access to critical speech and language services for children across the state. This support helps remove financial barriers to care, allowing families in Lane County and beyond to receive pediatric speech therapy regardless of income, while also giving UO graduate students hands-on clinical training. Together, this partnership strengthens communication, confidence, and opportunity for Oregon’s youngest learners.
