Oregon150: Rising Together

As the University of Oregon approaches its 150th anniversary, we are seizing a historic opportunity to reflect and rise together. Oregon150 is a bold fundraising initiative designed to fuel Oregon Rising, our strategic framework for the future.

Our aspiration is to be a preeminent and innovative public research university that enriches the human condition. Through Oregon150, we are rallying support around two key priorities: advancing student success and investing in transformative capital projects.

Be a part of the UO’s next chapter. Learn how we’re preparing students through academic excellence, impactful programs, and support services—and how we’re shaping collaborative, future-focused spaces in Eugene and Portland.

Supporting student-athletes: Darya Kaboli-Nejad’s mission to give back

Darya Kaboli-Nejad, BA ’19, turned her underdog journey as a walk-on softball player into a career defined by resilience and purpose. Now an attorney and founder of The Soraya Foundation, she is creating pathways for student-athletes beyond sports through mentorship and scholarships. Inspired by her immigrant parents and personal challenges, Darya’s story highlights the power of perseverance and giving back to support future generations—expanding access, opportunity, and long-term success.

Women in Graduate Science expands opportunities in STEM through donor support

The Women in Graduate Science organization at the University of Oregon advances equal opportunities in the STEM field through scholarships, mentorship, and outreach. Donor contributions fund awards that ease financial barriers, support research and professional growth, and expand access to programs like Girls’ Science Adventure Days. Together, this support helps build community, foster inclusion, and empower the next generation of scientists.
