Clark Honors College

The Robert D. Clark Honors College (CHC) provides a world-class liberal arts education for 1,100 UO undergraduates by offering small class sizes, rigorous coursework, the research, writing, and oral defense of an original undergraduate thesis, and individual attention from renowned faculty members. The CHC provides these exceptional academic opportunities, along with the benefits of a tier one research university, to motivated, high-achieving students from across the U.S. and around the globe.

Ranked a top-ten public honors college by Public University Honors, the CHC emphasizes interdisciplinary scholarship and independent research, creating a community of scholars that challenges, excites, and empowers students to explore their talents and academic passions. The success of the CHC is felt widely across campus through increased academic benchmarks, as well as higher retention and graduation rates. Many of the UO’s student leaders and academic award winners call the CHC home.

Much of what the CHC does would not be possible without the support of generous alumni, parents, and friends. Philanthropic investment from our community helps ensure the CHC experience is accessible to students of all backgrounds—scholarship dollars help us recruit and retain first-generation college students and transfer students who may require additional support with differential tuition and more. Philanthropy allows us to provide unique courses that take students outside of the classroom and to offer experiential learning opportunities, such as research assistantships and internships, that enhance career readiness.
Join our generous and loyal community of supporters by making a gift to one of the CHC’s key priorities below:
