Ducks Give 2024, held on May 16th, made history as the highest revenue year in UO history, raising an impressive $1.4 million from a record 3,028 gifts—the largest number of gifts in Ducks Give’s history.
The event also set new records for ambassador gifts, with 123 contributions from ambassadors, and welcomed 797 new donors to the UO community.
The day also saw the highest dollar amount raised through the ScaleFunder platform, totaling $626,000.
One area credited with a big showing this year was Club Sports, with Dance and Baseball coming in at the top of the Leaderboard with a combined 1,254 gifts! A big thanks to our partners in UO Athletics for the support this year.
Parents and Family also made a big splash, thanks to the efforts of Amy Swank and the new Parents and Family Philanthropy and Engagement team, whose 50-state challenge helped bring together parents and families from across the country for Giving Day. In total 385 parent donors made gifts, up from 166 the previous year.
