Financial Wellness
For most undergraduates, starting college brings newfound independence—making big decisions, managing time, and charting a course for the future. It also adds new financial freedom (and responsibility). At the UO’s Financial Wellness Center, students learn about budgeting, credit, loans, and more.
A collaboration between the Lundquist College of Business and the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, this comprehensive program is interactive, personalized, and engaging. Undergraduate peer coaches help other students on a one-to-one basis. The center organizes dynamic workshops for student organizations, and leverages the expertise of UO faculty members to help students understand investing, taxes, buying a car, and other important topics.
