About the Fund
The James O. and Alfred T. Goodwin Senior Fellow was established in 1994 by Mary and Alfred Goodwin to support a faculty member with strength in teaching, high ethical standards, and significant contributions to the legal community.
Alfred Goodwin attended the University of Oregon, where he studied journalism and participated in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. In 1951, Goodwin received his Juris Doctor degree from the UO School of Law, where he deeply valued his time and experiences.
