About the Fund

The Kenda and Kenneth Singer Endowed Professorship in Human Physiology was established by Kenda and Kenneth Singer in 2013 to provide support to tenured faculty in the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon. The Kenneth M. and Kenda H. Singer Endowed Science Librarianship Fund was established by Kenda and Kenneth Singer in 2014 to endow the Kenneth M. and Kenda H. Singer Endowed Science Librarian position in the Allan Price Science Commons and Research Library. The Singers’ philanthropic impact reaches beyond medicine. Through their family foundation, they have supported Eugene area high school students with college scholarships. At UO, they have been significant donors, endowing chairs for the Science Library and the Department of Physiology. Their generosity has also benefited libraries, the Oregon Humanities Center, intercollegiate athletics, and Judaic Studies.
