About the Fund
The Gwen and Charles Lillis Faculty Excellence Endowment Fund was established by Gwen and Charles Lillis in 2016 to provide support to recruit and retain faculty within prioritized areas of academic excellence that will allow the university to build on areas of existing strength and take advantage of new opportunities. The initial area of prioritized academic excellence supported is Securing National Prominence in Volcanology, Volcanic Hazards, and Geothermal Energy.
