About the Fund
The Gerry and Marilyn Cameron Chair in Finance was established to support and enrich the study of finance at the University of Oregon. Gerry Cameron, a member of the class of 1961, was passionate about helping the University of Oregon and Portland State University students because a life-changing scholarship allowed him to go from working in mint fields on a farm in Washington to meeting the Queen of England through his position on the Federal Reserve Board.
