Join in-person or on livestream as the UO discusses the role of academia, state and the federal government at a time of urgently needed transition to address climate change.

UO Law Professor Greg Dotson will discuss his engagement with the U.S. Senate as it developed and passed the historic bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the resulting infusion of resources to the state of Oregon and how the package addresses climate change.

After Professor Dotson’s remarks, Provost Phillips, Dean Burke and Professor Dotson will take questions and participate in a panel discussion on the impacts of infrastructure investment on the region.  This conversation will help inform and guide our communities on current and emerging state, regional and national opportunities related to the bipartisan infrastructure package including specific emphasis on the provisions that will help decarbonize the future.
