Support Student Athletes through the Duck Athletic Fund!
The Duck Athletic Fund (DAF) provides members with opportunities to support Oregon Athletics and connect with other Duck fans, Oregon coaches, and student-athletes. Thanks to your generosity, the UO is able to compete at the highest level while operating one of the most financially self-sufficient programs in the nation.
As one of only a handful of Division I programs that do not receive state general fund support, we look to donors like you to provide a winning edge. Your philanthropic giving supports Oregon’s student-athletes and their commitment to excellence. Whether your support is through:
- Annual contributions
- Seat and parking contributions
- Naming rights
- Capital projects
- An annual $25,000 student-athlete scholarship
- An endowed scholarship
- Women in Flight
- Out of Town VIP
- An estate gift
You help make it happen!

Support Through Experience
Tickets, per seat and/or parking contributions
The Oregon Athletic Ticket Office and Duck Athletic Fund team work together throughout the year to offer donors, season ticket holders, and fans access to any available seating and parking. All Duck Athletic Fund contributions are awarded priority points which help improve your game day options.
Broad-Based Support
Annual Contributions
The future of Oregon Athletics is dependent upon private contributions such as yours, more than ever before. Your annual gift helps form a solid foundation and gets allocated to where it will do the most good. Let us know how we can customize your support today!
Women in Flight
Our Women in Flight initiative raises awareness and financial support to achieve and maintain broad-based excellence across all women’s programs. You can help us boost awareness and competitiveness by directing gifts specifically to the advancement of female student-athletes. Make a gift to Women in Flight today!
Restricted and Sport-Specific Giving
Naming Rights and Capital Projects
You can direct a gift of any size towards the sport of your choice or choose from a variety of capital campaigns: Hatfield-Dowlin Complex, PK Park, Matthew Knight Arena, Jane Sanders Stadium (softball), Hayward Field, and more. Naming opportunities are available for gifts as small as $10,000.
Endowed Scholarships
Permanent funding through endowments is critical to advancing Oregon Athletics’ promise of providing our student-athletes with every resource necessary to achieve their athletic and academic goals. In 2020-21 scholarship costs for Duck student-athletes exceeded $13 million. As tuition continues to rise, donor support through endowments is imperative to our continued support.
Estate Planning
Deferred Gifts
Donor support helps us to recruit the most promising student-athletes, retain the best coaches and staff, and provide for a world-class experience for every Duck program. You can continue this legacy of support for generations to come by including Oregon Athletics in your estate plan. The Duck Athletic Fund and Office of Gift Planning can assist you and your advisor as you prepare your will. We can provide sample bequest language to ensure that in the future your gift can be used as you intend.
Life-Income Gifts
By funding a life-income gift, you can receive payments for life and an income tax charitable deduction. If you use appreciated assets to fund your gift, you can also reduce capital gains taxes. Two of the most common life-income gifts are charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. In exchange for a gift of cash or stock, you will receive fixed payments for life. Payout rates are based on your age at the time of the gift; the older you are, the higher your rate.
