Anticipating the decline of the timber industry, Randy Papé steered the family’s heavy equipment business as it diversified into aviation, banking and waste management. Papé Bros. grew to become Papé Group with 60 locations in seven western states. Papé served on numerous corporate, charitable and government boards, including leading Campaign Oregon: Transforming Lives, the largest and most successful fundraising effort in Oregon’s history.
