A new center for biomedical research and health assessment in the Department of Exercise and Movement Science would provide service to the public; enhance research in areas such as aging, balance, heart and lung problems, and neurological disorders; and expand student opportunities for health careers.

A new mammalian genetics center housed in an integrative science building will advance the Brain, Biology, Machine Initiative by bringing together world-class faculty members to produce improvements in the human condition from the molecular to the behavioral.
