A bequest is a gift made in a will or living trust.
Types of Bequests
- Specific: Cash, percentage of estate,
or asset such as stock shares.
- Residuary: All or part of property after
debts, taxes, administration expenses, and specific bequests
to other beneficiaries have been made.
