Pathway to Success

The first program of its kind in the state, PathwayOregon will bridge the gap between college expenses and the financial aid (federal and state) that students receive, guaranteeing them a University of Oregon education at no cost.

PathwayOregon will launch in fall 2008, giving approximately 400 entering freshmen a guarantee that they can attend the University of Oregon­— tuition-free­—through a combination of federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships. With the support of private gifts, the program will grow, serving more and more Oregonians. Students who continue to meet financial and academic eligibility requirements can participate for twelve terms. In addition, they can compete for a grant that covers meals and housing.
