  • Double sustainable fundraising capacity.

  • Raise up to $100 million for undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships.

  • Double endowed faculty positions, from 75 to 150.

  • Support faculty research.

  • Increase alumni giving from 12 to 20 percent.

  • Fund building projects: Music, Education, Theater, Condon Hall, New Integrated Science Complex, New Alumni Center, New Arena.

What this will mean for the UO

  • Sustain and enhance the four cornerstones for transforming lives at the UO: opportunity, inspiration, discovery and connection.

  • Increase investment in recruiting, retaining and recognizing nationally competitive faculty members; attracting top undergraduate and graduate students and strengthening academic programs that offer promise of national and international distinction.

  • Increase student access by boosting scholarships and fellowships and expanding educational opportunities both on and off campus.

  • Improve the on-campus student experience by enhancing programs inside and outside the classroom including those that foster leadership, ethical behavior and social responsibility.

  • Support university research, technology transfer and public-private partnerships that will help the Oregon economy.
UO Theater Expansion among campaign goals. Over the past five years, we’ve won awards in lighting, design, costumes, and acting, and three of our faculty members have won Ersted Awards for excellence in teaching. All this in a limited facility. Imagine what we'll do with more.
