“The UO has played a major role in our lives,” says Miller, who earned a master’s degree in 1997 from the School of Journalism and Communication and now works there as director of communication.
“I want the girls to know that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves— and that giving back to our communities is important.”
Miller is among some 100 donors who last year joined the university’s Arnold Bennett Hall Society, an honorary society celebrating those who have made planned gifts to the university.
