My Oregon, My Turn
Bequests Help Shape University’s Present, Future
Printer-friendly version
As a single mom barely into her forties, Zanne Miller seems young to be planning a bequest to the University of Oregon.
But Miller plans to leave a percentage of her estate to the university because she sees giving back as a way to help her seven-year-old twin daughters, Clio and Julia, feel a tangible connection to the future.
That’s also why she is participating in “My Oregon, My Turn,” a new effort by the university’s Office of Gift Planning to raise awareness about the importance of estate gifts to the university.
