Campaign Oregon will enhance scholarships—our investment in our students and our future. The school’s scholarship program is designed to recruit and support outstanding students who will become the next generation of leaders in journalism and communications. Our current scholarship endowment totals approximately $5 million and, in the 2003–4 academic year, enabled us to generate nearly $225,000 in support for our undergraduate and graduate students. Despite this, we are able to provide scholarships for only one out of ten undergraduate journalism majors.
