Connection: Taking the Lead

Superintendent Roger Woehl of the West Linn-Wilsonville School District is taking the lead in transforming his district by implementing a plan with the UO College of Education for his educators to learn from the best that education has to offer today.

The West Linn-Wilsonville project exemplifies new possibilities for education, using technology to facilitate the school district’s efforts to transform its practices. Using distance technology, a group of seventeen doctoral students from the district is able to work with College of Education faculty members, pursuing studies that address real issues in their district.
