Ryan Hire, Program Manager

Working with alumni, parents and friends of UO who make gifts between $2,500 and $25,000, Annual Giving Associate Director Ryan Hire is enthusiastic about the purpose of his program.

Working with this special group of donors, the President’s Associates, Ryan’s goal is to grow support for scholarships, schools, departments and library facilities enabling the UO to continue offering the best education possible to its students.

A Eugene native, Ryan saw first-hand over the years what a strong alumni base and generous donor support has done for the advancement of the University of Oregon. From nationally-recognized academic programs, steady increases in enrollment, state-of-the-art classrooms and talented professors, Ryan’s tenure at the UO made him appreciate the education made possible, in large part, by UO donors.

Ryan served one year as program manager of the Annual Giving Program’s Duck Call prior to being selected as associate director. Dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals, Ryan looks forward to sharing the importance of each gift to those who make them possible.
