Gratitude. The dictionary defines it as, “a feeling of thankfulness and appreciation.” This is the time of year when we stop and take a moment to think about the things we’re thankful for and the University of Oregon – the students, faculty, the amazing facilities and all the alumni of this great institution – is a large part of what we appreciate.

Seven schools and colleges provide a remarkable education to 22,000 students each year. Faculty and staff of the highest calliber are hired and additional programs are developed. In the process, the university gives back to the community and to the State of Oregon. The continued growth of the university could not be maintained without generous gifts from alumni and friends.
