Oregon Bach Festival

Program support
  • Numerous donors stepped up with significant gifts to push the Saltzman Endowment past $8 million toward a goal of $10 for the campaign. The festival's endowment will help to fund in perpetuity the operations of the world-class festival, fueling growth of artistic and educational programs.
  • A $700,000 gift from The Roger and Lilah Stangeland Foundation provided a permanent endowment for the festival’s Youth Choral Academy, which brings eighty-five select high school students from around the country to Eugene every summer for ten days to live, work, and perform alongside the festival’s internationally renowned choir, orchestra, soloists, and conductors. In honor of the gift, the program was renamed the Stangeland Youth Choral Academy.
