The art we create, study, and preserve; the architecture that shapes our built and natural environment; and the planning and policy-making that guide our communities are all expressions of the values, aspirations, and character of our society. When we provide students with opportunities for expression, they learn more than technique. They learn how to transform their world.

No two people leave the UO School of Architecture and Allied Arts with the same education. Each student participates in a unique, interdisciplinary experience. These experiences require studio space, faculty attention, field research, and the right technologies. Art and architecture studios, hands-on planning internships, and art and art history research programs are resource intensive and possible only through private gifts.
