Our graduates are more than introspective practitioners.

We challenge students to become critical thinkers, risk takers, and bold problem solvers. This takes broad, interdisciplinary inquiry and hands-on experience. It also takes inspiration.

Inspiration cannot be forced,
but it can be fostered. Inspiration comes from the “spaces” between disciplines, from honest critiques, and even from mistakes. It can be nurtured by individual attention, studio time, or a mentor. With the help of private gifts, we are creating an environment that sparks inspiration.
