The Center for Asian and Pacific Studies brings together the University of Oregon's diverse programs and expertise related to the study of Asia and the Pacific. The center's affiliated faculty members are engaged in teaching and research on the peoples, histories, languages, cultural traditions, and economies of East, South, and Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.
